Huge battle between the Jags and the Pats. They key thing is the Jacksonville Jaguars didn't show themselves unworthy of the team they faced. I would say that they did a solid game during three quarters and a half.
David Garrard (22 of 33 for 278 yards 2 touchdowns, 1 interception photo right #9) and Tom Brady (photo left #12, 26 of 28 for 267 yards, 3 touchdowns) played at the same level during the first half. Their ratings were almost identical.
Brady completed 100% of his passes to 7 different targets. Jacksonville was scared of Pats' possible big plays so they allowed only short gains on Brady's attempts.
Inside the Jaguars, Maurice Jones-Drew is  really an impressive player, he's small but doesn't refuse to be physical with defenders who are heavier and taller than him, but he doesn't care.
He's strong, very tough to stop when he gets speed. There's only few teams that have a running backs duo as prolific as Fred Taylor and Jones-Drew.
Add them a quarterback like Garrard, the result is a very solid team in a near future.
Jack Del Rio is building a team that can create problems to anyone in the National Football League.
That was really a tactical war between two big coachs.
But this season, it was written that New England would be unbeatable. If I had to rank the performance of Pats' opponents, I'd place Jacksonville in second place just behind the Baltimore Ravens that contained the Patriots until 48 seconds of regulation.
