Shokey is a Saint

I really don't know what Superbowl XLII champs New York Giants did with their starter at tight end position Jeremy Shokey (photo #80).
They traded him to the Saints for upcoming draft picks.
This guy brought some big intensity to Giants' offense, he is so extroverted and outgoing.
He's got many tatoos, he knows exactly how to be antipathetic but , at the same time, how to be in Giants fans' heart by performing some incredible moves.

According to me, he's the most popular among the infamous NFL players. He represents the old school at tight end position with names like Tony Gonzalez  even though he's only 27.
Now Antonio Gates is the first name you think about when you talk about tight end position
He was injured last season, well substitued by Kevin Boss, but I think trading him was a huge mistake.
He was exchanged for a second and a fifth draft pick in the upcoming 2009 draft.
I didn't appreciate him very much but I have to recognize that he's got some potential which still makes him a serious weapon on offense and a real threat for defenses.

My point is, the New Orleans Saints are the winners of this deal. They already had a good offense with Reggie Bush, Deuce McAllister, Marques Colston and quarterback Drew Brees, but now they add Shokey who's a real poison for short-gain and red-zone passes...
