Ryan didn't disappoint

The new franchise quarterback of the Atlanta Falcons has well started at the highest level, he didn't sign an unbelievable stat sheet but it was a decent one.
The most important thing, even though he's got only 1 touchdown, he wasn't picked off.
His numbers, 9 of 13 for 161 yards, 1 touchdown, 0 interception.
He completed passes to eight different targets.
He began very well his season in a franchise that really needs and wants to believe.
By the way, the Falcons won the game on a 34-21 score.
Many people will say that it was just the Lions but I'd say he's just a rookie, so don't be so tough with him because many rookies has started their career a worse way. Don't forget he's got a big pressure on his shoulders and he has to deal with probably the toughest position in football.
He leads the entire offensive squad, he has to learn about every systems of a playbook that was made for Micheal Vick.
He has not the same physical abilities but he's maybe a better thrower.
He threw his first career touchdown pass during his first pro game on his first throw.
He made a better debut than Tom Brady, Peyton Mannig and Brett Favre, as well.
This was a one-possession game until Lions' quarterback John Kitna was picked off during the drive that would have allow the Lions to tie the game up.
Ryan made a very good impression for his first appearance. Micheal Turner ran for 220 yards in 22 carries and score 2 touchdowns. He broke an old franchise record for most yards ran in a single game.
