Big surprise tonight, the Arizona Cardinals have defeated the Philadelphia Eagles.
I do really not understand how a such unidimensional team as the Cardinals could beat Philly. Everybody knows they will throw the ball but it works anyway. It's a little bit surprising from Eagles defensive coordinator Dirk Johnson. In the first half, the Eagles have scored only 6 points with two field goals but the Cardinals have scored 3 touchdowns, all of them by Larry Fitzgerald.
Fitzgerald (photo #11) was the great guy for the Cardinals with 9 receptions for 152 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Kurt Warner (photo #13) threw for 279 yards with a good completion percentage 21 of 28 pass attempts, he add 4 tochdowns.

Eagles fans wanted to believe when their team outscored opponents 13-0. Philly had clearly regained the momentum in the 3rd, but finally totally lost control on their last drive.
Concerning Eagles offense Only satisfactions are rookie wide receiver Desean Jackson and tight-end Brent Celek (photo #87).

On defense, there is not any satisfaction, Asante Samuel, last season best cornerback with New England, was completely burned by opponent's best reciever.
The Eagles lost 32-25, a fifth championship game lost in 8 years, they went only once to the Super Bowl.
A complete surprise for a team nobody expected to see at this level, however I don't really think the Cards could beat the winner of the AFC.
But who knows what it will happen...

Good luck, because no matter which team Arizona will face, they'll be there to win so don't expect them to play nice football
