Sunday was played Super Bowl XLIII at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
Pittsburgh could become the only team in NFL history with more than 5 Super Bowl wins.
However it was not as easy as it seemed.
After a first drive well stopped by Arizona, the Pittsburgh Steelers were obliged to kick a field goal by Jeff Reed.
After a rushing touchdown by Gary Russel, the Steelers have a 10-point lead.
Kurt Warner (photo left #13, 31 of 43 for 377 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception) responds by a short touchdown pass to tight end Ben Patrick (photo below right) who caught his only pass of the game.

At the end of the second quarter, with less than 2 minutes to go, while Kurt Warner was about to score a touchdown which could allow the Cardinals to stay in the game, Cards' thrower was picked off by Steelers' linebacker James Harrison (photos below #92) who went to score the longest interception returned for a touchdown in a Super Bowl for a 100-yard distance.

At halftime, Pittsburgh leads on a 17-7 score...

In first half, Larry Fitzgerald was speechless, well contained by Steelers' defensive backs.

No score in the 3rd except a field goal by Jeff Reed.
Fitzgerald (photos right #11) ends up with 7 passes for a total gain of 127 yards and 2 touchdowns.
He caught a short pass in the middle of the field then, he crossed the remaining turf to score an amazing 64-yard touchdown.

At this point, with 2.37 remaining in regulation, Arizona, after runing after the score, was about to create the biggest surprise of this already surprising season because they led 23-20, but, before celebrating, they have to contain big plays.
Steelers' receiver Santonio Holmes was the big guy of this game with 9 receptions for 131 yards. Holmes (photos below #10) caught a huge touchdown pass with 0.35 to go in regulation. This reception makes Pittsburgh enter the NFL history.

After being outscored 16-7 in 4th quarter, the Pittsburgh Steelers won the game on a 27-23 score and set a new NFL record with 6 Super Bowl wins.

Santonio Holmes, ex-Ohio State Buckeyes, was logically named MVP of this Super Bowl XLIII.
Mike Tomlin is the youngest head coach to win a Super Bowl.
Ben Roethlisberger did a better game than the previous Super Bowl Pittsburgh won, he completed 21 on 30 pass attempts for 256, 1 touchdown and 1 interception.

23-27
