This first sunday in the NFL was so intense and gave us some big sensations, from Brett Favre's success on 4th and 12 to Young and Brady's injuries.
There's no doubt, the regular season has begun.

A very interesting matchup between the New Orleans Saints that hosted the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Both teams scored very early in the first quarter but, next, nobody seems to be able to take control so it was 3 and out series until about 10 minutes to go in the third quarter.
At this point of the game, Jeremy Shokey bring the momentum back to his teammates with a huge reception for 26 yards (photo #88).
He finishes the game with 6 receptions for 54 yards. He brought some big intensity, as usual.
How could I tell you about the Saints without talking about the player who's, according to me, the most elusive back in the NFL, of course I mean Reggie Bush (photo below #25).
This guy has definitely a great body control, he's so fast in his decisions that he can stop at the exact moment the defensive player wants to tackle, therefore he looks him jumping off and keeps running for a big yardage, most of the time.
He is very often the player who's got the most receptions of his team due to the number of screen passes to avoid sacks on Drew Brees. The number 25 compiled 14 runs for 51 yards and 8 receptions for 112 yards and 1 touchdown.
Devery Henderson earns 81 yards for his only reception of the game but what a reception, it was a touchdown catch.
By the way, Pierre Thomas, the other running back has a decent performance to allow Bush to have some rest and also to well subtitute Deuce McAllister. He ran 10 times for 52 yards and caught 2 balls for 11 yards.
Drew Brees completes 23/32 pass attempts for 343 yards, 3 touchdown even though he was intercepted once, his game was huge!
On the Bucs side, Jeff Garcia (photo below #7) gets 24/41, 1 touchdown but also 1 interception.

Ernest Graham the player who was the back up of Carnell Williams and replace him so well last season during Williams' injury is now the primary running back for the Bucs, he compiled 10 rush attempts for 91 yards and 3 receptions for 27 yards.
This season he will be associated with ex Falcons' Warrick Dunn.
The receiver corp will be as experienced as old with ex-Giants' Ike Hilliard (photo right #19) and the eternal Joey Galloway.

The Saints won the game 24-20 and begin this season the best way

24-20
