The first Monday Night Football was nothing but a demonstration of the Denver Broncos against the Oakland Raiders.
This game makes realise Raiders fans that they will need a lot of time before being competitive, as they lost and were shut out until the middle of the last period before Jamarcus Russell got his rythm by throwing 2 touchdown-passes with a decent 17 of 26 and 180 yards.
Darren McFadden (run DMC) was below the level everybody expected, he ran for 47 yards through 9 rushes.
He needs some games to earn some precious experience.
The Raiders loss was most of all Eddie Royal's fault.
The number 19 of the Denver Broncos (photo below), a second-round draft pick in the last NFL Draft, is a slasher (a player who can do everything on offense), he can run the football at some point, he can catch and he can even throw.
His performance was simply amazing, just great!
He did everything during few minutes, right after catching the ball, he ran with success on the next play.
He caught 9 passes for 146 yards and 1 touchdown. He ran two times for 9 yards.
The quarterback of the Broncos, Jay Cutler (photo #6), had a big performance with 16 of 24 pass attempts for 299 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The number 6 was on fire and every Broncos fans would like him to be the new John Elway.

On the defensive side, everything seems to be right.
The pass defense is Champ Bailey and Dre Bly's role, two very solid cornerback.
The rush defense seems to be on too with some good defensive linemen and an athletic linebacker corp led by D.J Williams.
