This is one of the biggest rivalry in the NFL. Both teams are from the NFC East.

The Philafeplia Eagles, a very solid team which doesn't succeed totally in their championship quest although they have several very good players on both side of the ball but they always need one element to continue their route. Most of the time they need one dominant receiver to catch McNabb's passes.
This monday night they faced the Dallas Cowboys of their ex-teammate Terrell "extravorted" Owens who likes showing his former team they did a huge mistake by letting him go.
Cowboys' quarterback Tony Romo, after a field goal by David Akers for Philly, threw a bullet, a 72 yards pass, to Terrell Owens (photo #81) for the score.
I have to recognize he really impressed me because after a big catch, he was already over the cornerback he faced, Asante Samuel who was the best cornerback the last two years, then he accelerated again to lose the defender and  entered the endzone like Usain Bolt. He celebrated too much once again..

This was the craziest first half ever!
After T.O's touchdown, David Akers kicked another field goal but on the following kickoff return, a rookie named Felix Jones ran about 98 yards for another Cowboys' touchdown. This was so intense, the leader changed 9 times I gess.

At haltime the Eagles led 30-24.

On the Eagles sideBrian Westbrook can really do everything.
He excels on screen passes to gain important yardage after the catch, and avoiding the pass rush on McNabb, but he can also run the football. He's so elusive, when you think the defender got him, he falls down 2 or 3 yards later.
This guy's so huge, this jump (photo #36) was to score a touchdown which failed as rookie Desean Jackson made a big play, but he celebrated too early, he droped the ball just few steps before crossing the goal line.

The ball was given back to the Eagles at the one and Westbrook finally scored it.
Desean Jackson is just a rookie he has to secure his catch before thinking of any celebration.
That's exactly what coaches say to any receiver, the key thing is thinking about the catch first before thinking about the possible ground you would be able to gain.
Westbrook's stats, 18 carries for 58 yards and 2 touchdowns but also 6 receptions for 45 yards and 1 touchdown.
McNabb completed 24 of his 37 pass attempts and 1 touchdown, 5 rushes for 20 yards.

For the Cowboys, Tony Romo 21 of 30 pass attempts for 312 yards, 3 touchdowns but also 1 interception.
The ball carrier Marion Barber ran 18 times for a gain of 63 yards and 1 touchdown, he caught 4 passes for 51 yards and one of them was for a touchdown (photo left #24).
Among the receiver the main names are, first of all, T.O with 81 yards with only 3 catches, tight end Jason Witten, who's simply a tight end not a wide reciever, he caught 7 passes for a big gain, 110 yards.

Finally the Dallas Cowboys won the game but by a small margin 41-37.

41-37
