A very exciting game this monday night of week 14 in the NFL between the Pittsburgh Steelers that hosted the Dallas Cowboys at Heinz field where it's very cold at this point of the year.
After a shy debut for both teams, we have to wait the second quarter for seeing a field goal by Jeff Reed to put the first points on the scoreboard with 2.44 remaining in the first half.
The Cowboys replied on the following drive with a field goal by Nick Folk .
The first half was defensively so intense. Some tremendous defensive athletes are present in each team, their name: DeMarcus Ware, James Harrison, James Farrior, Marcus Spears, Jay Ratliff, Casey Hampton, Zack Thomas or Lamar Woodley (photo #56).
With a guy as Dick LeBeau to elaborate defensive schemes, there's no surprise if Pittsburgh is the #1 defense in the NFL. Opponent's quarterback is always hurried in his choices and takes bad decisions so it let the Steelers' defense some easy turnovers to get.
Tony Romo, who was sacked 3 times, completing 19 of 36 pass attempts with 1 touchdown but was picked off 3 times.
His biggest target was, as usual, tight end Jason Witten despite the enormous ego of Terrell Owens who doesn't admit not to be the superstar of his team.
If Dallas is from the huge NFC East, traditionally considered as the toughest division in the NFL with some teams as the Giants, the Eagles and the Redskins, Pittsburgh is known not to well succeed when they face a team from this division.
However Mike Tomlin's team (photo below) showed a solid face even though the Cowboys have outscored the Steelers in the third 10-0.
Pittsburgh has well replied by a 17-0 in 4th quarter.
Even though he is talented, 17 of 33 pass attempts for 204 yards and 1 touchdown, my point is the major default of Rothiesberger's game is he waits too long before releasing the ball. So, it's not a surprise he was sacked 5 times.
The main satisfaction for Dallas came from their running game, after Marion Barber and Felix Jones' loss, rookie Tashard Choice replaced them very well.
Choice (photo below) compiled 88 yards in 23 attempts attempts and 5 receptions for 78 yards just 1 reception behind Romo's biggest target, Jason Witten.

Besides, on this picture (photo left) you can easily realise how athletic Troy Polamalu (dark long hair guy) is because he's a strong safety, the last defensive row who's in charge to avoid opponent's passing big plays but he very often plays near the line of scrimmage and makes huge tackles for losses, just like he did on this play.
He also reads so well pass routes and he picks off the ball about every game.
Against Dallas he got 1 interception and, the most impressive thing with this amazing guy, he's also the best tackler of his team.
With 1.51 remaining in that ball game, an interception by Deshea Townsend , returned for a touchdown, killed Cowboys' last hopes.
