A very exciting game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers which went to Atlanta in the Georgia dome home of the Falcons. This was a NFC south rivalry. Even if only few points have been scored, it was so intense.
The Bucs showed a different face wich was more in with their reputation. But their ground defense was permeable once again. After having allowed about 300 yards to Carolina's Smash & Dash, Micheal Turner ran for 152 yards in 32 carries and add 1 touchdown against Bucs' defense. Turner (photo below n°33), after being LaDainian Tomlinson's backup with the chargers, is now the primary halfback and he can shows all of his skills.
Tampa Bay was there against Falcons' passes, they picked off twice. One of these was a Ronde Barber's interception, this guy reads quarterbacks very well and most of the time, Barber (photo below n°20) anticipates perfectly wide reciever's route.

Matt Ryan was below the level he usually plays, he completed 16 on his 23 attempts for a relatively decent gain of 206 yards, no touchdown but 2 interceptions. Atlanta has understood there's no need to overthrow against the Bucs, just a solid running game.
Inside the Buccaneers, Jeff Garcia was injured so it's Brian Griese who was starter at quarterback position. Griese (26-37 for 269 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception) could count on a solid running game with Warrick Dunn (photo below n°28) and Carnell "Cadillac" Williams.

They carried the football 12 times for Dunn and 14 times for Williams, they respectively earned 40 and 59 yards.
Only 1 touchdown was scored for each team.
The game went to overtime until a field goal by Jason Elam (photo below n°1) rescued Atlanta to end with a small 13-10 score.
