Big game this sunday, one of the biggest rivalry in the NFL, the New York Giants visited, America's team, the Dallas Cowboys at Texas stadium.
This game could have a big impact for both teams season record because the Giants needed a victory before facing Carolina next week for the lead of the NFC.
Meanwhile the Cowboys really had to win for pursuing a wild card playoff spot and to also control their own destiny.
What was really significative in this game, how Giants' offense was unable to gain ground, after their poor performance against Philly with 211 total yards, and also how their pass protection was permeable.
Dallas' defense got 8 sacks and not only by Cowboys' defensive linemen. Linebacker DeMarcus Ware sacked Eli Manning three times but also Bradie James sacked once, Greg Ellis twice and defensive linemen Chris Canty 1.5 and Anthony Spencer 0.5.
Ware (Photos below #94) is just too fast, too athletic for being contained by any offensive tackle and that's why he is the best sacker in the NFL with 19 and is still on the path to break Micheal Strahan's record for most sacks in a single season with 22.
This is crazy because Strahan was a defensive end, a pass rusher, so it's logical he got so many sacks but Ware is only a linebacker who's got more distance to get to sack the quarterback.
There's no need to tell DeMarcus Ware is the perfect example of these guys who are considered as some real freaks of nature.

So due to the pressure he felt, no surprise Giants' thrower was picked off twice.
However, Manning had a decent completion percentage, he completed 18 of his 35 attempts but did not score any touchdown.
My point is Manning is not really good under pressure, he takes too often bad decisions.
The absence of two very important players didn't help, either:
Plaxico Burress (suspended) and Brandon Jacobs (injured) miss the game. Without them, no powerful ground attack, even though it remained Ward and Bradshaw, and no big target to throw to.
The deal wasn't that easy for New York. That's the reason why the G men compiled only 218 yards with both ground attack and passing game.
I have to say the other Steve Smith is huge too because he drops passes very rarely, he's got so reliable hands.
I do not understand why it was Dominick Hixon who replaced Burress as Manning's main target.
Come on, Smith is the next Giants' possession receiver, there's no need to be very smart to understand that.
He would be perfect beside Burress, Plaxico would be the deep threat and he would be the possession receiver with great hands, the one you look for on 3rd and 4.
Inside the Cowboys everything went fine and if their defense was brillant, the offense was too.
Quarterback Tony Romo (Photo #9)threw for 244 yards and completed 20 of 30 pass attempts, he adds 2 touchdowns.
Romo makes me think to a young Brett Favre the one who completed unbelievable passes just before being sacked to avoid a big loss.
The emerging of rookie Tashard Choice is good a thing for Dallas, Marion Barber is not in pretty good shape, he carries the ball 8 times for just 2 yards in 8 . His coach didn't want to insist.
Choice (photo #23) carried the ball effectively, he ran 9 times for 91 yards and scored 1 touchown on his longest run which was for a total gain of 38 yards.
Dallas won the game on a 20-8 score after a huge battle during almost three entire quarters. They still believe...
However the New York Giants have to worry because this was their second consecutive loss and there will be a very important game against Carolina next week.
They could lose the lead of the NFC with a loss and beyond that, it could be homefield advantage as well...
