Tomlinson: End of a lightning!

Jets' running back LaDainian Tomlinson will announce his retirement from the NFL after re-signing with the Chargers. Former 5th overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft had a great career, most of all as a Charger.
He led the league in rushing in 2006, 07 and was named MVP in 06.
Tomlinson started 141 games over nine seasons in San Diego, rushing for 12,490 yards with 138 touchdowns and adding 530 receptions for 3,955 yards and 15 touchdowns.
A five-time Pro Bowl selection and three-time, first-team All-Pro, Tomlinson is the Chargers' all-time leader in rushing yards, rushing touchdowns. Despite ranking fifth on the all-time list of best halfbacks, behind Hall of Famers Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders and Curtis Martin, Tomlinson's got no ring, that's the major lack in his amazing career.

It's a good thing he retires as a Charger, it's completely logical.
