Giants' starters didn't miss at all for the opening Thursday Night Football, on NFL network, as the G men totally rout the Carolina Panthers on a 36-7 score

well helped by tailback Andre Brown (photo #35) who carries the ball 20 times for total gain of 113 yards and 2 scores.
Backup wideout Ramses Arden (photo #13) had a good game too catching 9 balls for 139 yards. Eli Manning completes 27/35 for 288 yards and 1 touchdown. Kicker Laurence Tynes made 5 field goals of his 5 attempts.
On the other side, Cam Newton struggled, he completes 16/30 for 242 yards, no touchdown but 3 picks. New York found the schemes to limit Newton's athleticism impact, former first overall pick ran 6 times for only 6 yards. Even if he scores a rushing touchdown, the G men made Cam Newton one dimensional forcing him to make the difference by his throws.
A smart game plan perfectly executed by New York.
The Panthers turned the ball over five times with the three interceptions thrown by Panthers' passer, plus two fumbles lost by rookie wideout Joe Adams, Carolina was shut out the entire first half.

Please note that Giants' linebacker Michael Boley had his third interception in just three games.

36-7
