By losing their leader, Linebacker Ray Lewis, for the rest of the season, the Baltimore Ravens seem to have lost their identity.
Against the Houston Texans, they allowed 43 points for the first time since 73 games. It was the battle for the lead of the AFC and, offensively as defensevely, the birds were not inspired.

Except a 51-yard field goal by rookie kicker Justin Tucker in the opening period, Baltimore was shut out until the third quarter, allowing their opponents to ride with no stress. Houston scored 29 points without any answer!
Quarterback Joe Flacco threw 2 picks, one of these returned for a touchdown by cornerback Johnathan Joseph, he also got sacked in his own end zone for a safety.
Texans' front seven sacks Ravens' passer four times!
Ray Rice runs 9 times for 42 yards and the best receiver, Torrey Smith, has only 4 receptions for simply 41 yards, that's totally unacceptable!

Even with Terrell Suggs back, the defense wasn't much more inspired, allowing Arian Foster, 98 yards, to score twice.
Texans' passer Matt Schaub completes 23 of 37 pass attempts and 2 scores.
Wideout Andre Johnson had a pretty decent game in terms of receiving yards with 86 but no touchdown.
The two Texans' touchdowns are caught by receiver Kevin Walter and tight end Owen Daniels.
Baltimore didn't force any turnover either, a game to forget for Flacco and company.
Hoping they will able to cope after this mess.

With this victory, the Texans take the lead of the AFC with a 6-1 record.
