This week 7 kicks off with thursday night football, on NFL network, and a NFC West showdown between the San Francisco 49ers that hosted some surprising Seattle Seahawks of rookie quarterback Russell Wilson who stays on a three-touchdown game.
On the other side, quarterback Alex Smith really needed to bounce back after an ugly three-interception game against the G men.
Both teams can rely on a productive running game with their pretty solid primary halfback, Marshawn Lynch for Seattle and Franck Gore for the niners.
The passing game was not shiny, the numbers for both quarterbacks are almost identical as they were picked off once each, completing 9/23 and 122 yards for Wilson, 14/23 and 140 yards for Smith.
The only difference is the touchdown thrown by 49ers' quarterback to his second tight end Delanie Walker on a 12-yard pass in the 3rd.
San Francisco's head coach Jim Harbaugh made a smart game plan to limit Russell Wilson's impact and San Francisco's defense muzzled Marshawn Lynch only during nearly the entire opening period, next the beast awake and ran for 103 yards in 19 carries.
Lynch is so tough to tackle, he escapes gang tackling with an amazing facility.
His opponent at running back position, Franck Gore, carries the ball 16 times for a total gain of 131 yards.
Seattle will be able to only score two field goals by its kicker Steven Hauschka, for a 52 and 35-yard distance as Wilson's touchdown attempts will be unfruitful.

With this victory, the 49ers take the lead, alone, of the NFC West, waiting for Cardinals' result on Sunday...
