Despite a very good 2nd half and after an impressive comeback, the Cowboys fell against the defending champs

After being down by 23 points,Dallas realised a terrific 2nd half, the Cowboys had a last try to win the game but receiver Dez Bryant couldn't stay in bounds to secure the victory as the New York Giants won this ball game on a 29-24 score.
America's team was shut out until 5.22 to go in 1st half, after 3 New York's field goals, one rushing touchdown and 1 interception returned for a touchdown by Giants' defensive end Jason Pierre Paul, when Felix Jones scores a rushing touchdown.

At this point the score is 23-7 Giants, but the Cowboys awake scoring 24 points in a row to lead 24-23 to start the last period. Only 2 more field goals made by Lawrence Tynes, who made a perfect 5/5 attempts, will make the difference as Dallas had a last opportunity to win the game but wideout Dez Bryant couldn't stay in bounds to allow his team to defeat the defending champs.
However quarterback Tony Romo had not a big game in terms of efficiency by completing 36/62 pass attempts for a total gain of 437 yards, 1 score but he threw 4 picks.
Tight end Jason Witten had a terrific with 18 receptions for 167 yards caught!
Miles Austin and Dez Bryant got the ball 9 and 5 times for 133 and 110 yards.
On the other hand Giants' thrower Eli Manning had a shy game completing 15 of his 29 pass attempts for 192 yards, no score but 1 pick.

Giants' performance on third downs was almost pathetic with 3/14 but Romo's 4 interceptions prevent Dallas to get a precious victory against a division rival.
